It is a translation, in English , of the famous Arabic manuscript entitled "al-'Ala al-lati touzammirou binafsiha" written by the three Arab scholarly brothers known as' 'abna' Moussa ibn Chakir '' (Mohamad, Ahmad and Hassan) who lived in the tenth century and who were renowned for their knowledge so much that they were considered as pillars of the scientific renaissance, especially in the physical sciences, at the beginning of the Abbasid period .

The manuscript of the sons of Moussa ibn Chakir contains the precise and clear description of the organ or (the instrument playing alone ). This organ is considered as the first Arabic organ, since 'abna' Moussa, who conceived it, are the first Muslims who were interested in the sawnce ingenious devices ( 'ilm al-hiyal) and the mechanical sciences.
